Vic: Federal police charge three after counter-terrorism swoop

Three Melbourne men have been charged by the Federal Police over links with a terrorist
organisation .. as part of an ongoing joint state and federal police investigation.

A 25-year-old man from Brunswick .. a 21-year-old Coburg man .. and a 26-year-old Hadfield
man have been remanded in custody.

The arrests are linked to operation Pendennis .. which saw 19 men from Sydney and Melbourne
arrested last November.

The three men arrested last night are expected to appear before Melbourne Magistrates'
Court on Monday.
